Our Leadership team at the storehouse church Alford consists of an enthusiastic group of inspired people. Driven by the desire to spread God’s word into the community and beyond.
Tom, Jess, Ian, Sarah, Martin and Mandy live in Alford and are committed to serving this area. David and Pat are also committed to serving in Alford and live just a few miles outside.
Our pastors are Tom and Jess Mitchell…
Tom and Jess Mitchell
PastorsTom and Jess are husband and wife and have three beautiful daughters.
Tom is the paid church pastor and supported by his wife Jess, they have a heart for worship and are an integral part of the worship team.
The both love spending time together with their family, they run a small business in Alford and they enjoy reading.

David and Patricia Priest
LeadersDavid is a retired minister and they’ve moved near to Alford and are 100% committed to the fellowhip.
They are family oriented and they are also key members of the Sharon Miller Memorial Trust.
Sarah and Ian Lithgow
EldersIan and Sarah have lived in Alford for many years and have worked with the youth and community over this time. They have built up a relationship with many of the youth, many who are now adults. They have a true passion about the youth and about Alford.
They are passionate about spreading the news of Jesus to many, they love sharing their personal testimony of their walk with Jesus who has changed their life.
Martin and Mandy Smith
EldersMandy was the church pastor until July 2026. They have chosen to stay in the church as elders, alongside Ian and Sarah. Mandy has always been passionate to bring the word of God to life through the power of the holy spirit and enabling people to realise their potential in Christ and will help Tom with her spiritual maturity. Mandy will continue to lead Daughters of Destiny along side the team. In her spare time Mandy enjoys socialising, reading and singing.
Martin is the church treasurer, trustee and coordinates the worship team. In his spare time Martin likes gardening and playing golf. His passion is to work with the marginalised.
Along with the leadership team, we also have an amazing group of trustees and volunteers (from both within the church and from the community).

NETWORKS
Ground level and churches together in Alford
We are members of Ground Level – a national network, which is based in Lincoln and provides us with training opportunities and leadership support alongside other churches in the network.
Ground Level also oversees Awaken, an event held each year on the Lincolnshire Showground.
Some of the leadership team meet regularly with the other churches in Alford, together they arrange some events for Easter/Christmas where we come together as different churches and different denominations.

We give to Ground level network, Sharon Miller Memorial foundation, and One by one charities and organisations.
We also hold fund raising activities for the Sharon Miller Memorial foundation where some of our church ladies go out to Kenya to support them.
