Help for Adults and Children with special needs
We are delighted to be offering new services for people affected with special needs. We know that special needs affect both adults and children and we want to be able to support you/your carer with this.
We have launched an Autism Growth and Development team that provide lots of sessions, we have a sensory room attached to our soft play area.
We are offering the following child/adult/carer sessions – please check the venue and the age to select the session that will best help you.
Meet the team
We’re a passionate group dedicated to supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families with expert care, guidance, and advocacy. Funded by the Virtual Autism Hub and Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, our team brings together experience, compassion, and a commitment to helping every child and family thrive
Sarah
Sarah has an extensive background in social care, specialising in early help, risky teens and youth offending.
Experienced in supporting individuals with Autism and ADHD, offering parenting support, EHCP guidance and signposting for families.
Sarah is passionate about making a difference in the community.
Tammie
Tammie is a childcare professional and is a passionate advocate for neurodivergent individuals and home education.
Committed to supporting families through parent-led groups, tailored parenting support and EHCP advocacy.
Driven by community, compassion and a belief in every child’s potential.
Monica
Monica is passionate about inclusive, sensory friendly events and supporting SEN families.
With lived experience of disability and neurodivergence, dedicated to creating accessible activities and championing community-led change.
Monica is known for bringing empowerment, empathy and energy to every project.
Information on sessions
Parenting support and soft play
Alternate Saturday mornings from 9am – 11am, in the soft play area (4 Chauntry Road).
Family support, relaxed play, and links to local neurodivergent networks.
Let the children have fun whilst you talk through any concerns you have and get help.
Life Skills
For ages 11-18

Friday night 7 – 8.30pm
Come and cook with us, come and join in with others to grow your own independence, engage in teamwork.
Learn everyday essential skills for a brighter future.

These sessions are located in the soft play at 4 Chauntry Road, Alford, Lincolnshire LN13 9EZ or at The Access Centre 47 West Street Alford.
Unfortunately there is not any parking outside, we suggest roadside parking just a couple of minutes walk away where the parking restrictions for Alford end.
